Climbing Italian Trombetta di Albenga
- Grew many that were in the 48' range but largest 52 1/4 " Used chicken compost + many supplements this year I will have a challenger, this will make growing more fun and I already have growing areas prepared with accumulation of hi-tech growing solutions. I have set up the challenge as follows competitors can start their plants at there liking but the contest will end September 15th 2012 at 6:00 P.M. I have supplied my competitor with enough hi-tech stuff to be competitive with me. In other words I do not want an old fashioned butt whippin' just beat him or have the best numbers. Winner will have the largest number weight plus length total. Example 20 lbs + 55 in.= 75 The seed came from Renee's Gardens seed and I saved seed from my largest from last year to have the best genes for my quest this year. Anyone wanting to grow Climbing Italian Trombetta di Albenga will have a good eating young tender squash available just bread and fry like french fries and enjoy a fantastic meal by it's self.
