Tomato Growing Tips
- Plant two of the same species right together to a hole in soil that has been amended to make it neutral or slightly acidic. Fertilize heavily. Water weekly. Mulch. Use tomato blossom set spray to lessen blossom drop. Hybrids are easier to grow but heirlooms taste great even though they are more subject to disease. Watch for diseases and "harmful critters". Organic sprays are best if possible. Check daily. Don't prune. Stake and tie branches with soft materials. Take all advice then try what works best for you.

Best Water
- If you have an aquarium, don't throw the used water down the drain. Use it to water your tomato plants. It's the best fertilizer.

Feeding Tomatoes
- I like to spray my tomato plants with fish emulsion, every week or two. It keeps them green and helps to keep the bugs away.
