What I Write About
I write about gardening, landscaping, earth friendly products and personal reviews. And, how much of this can be accomplished on practically a zero dollar gardening budget. I chronicle my personal gardening projects and provide how-to articles and advice from what I have learned through my projects. I also chronicle the projects through a photo blog and a photo blog of gardens by creative local Austin, TX gardeners. My blog also provides information on how you can get many gardening items free, information on discounts, sales and sweepstakes.
Why I Started My Gardening Blog.
I started my blog to chronicle the process of creating a beautiful garden dream out of a completely weed infested and lack luster lawn. I recently lost my job and decided to take on the project of working on my yard and chronicle my journey. This also gives me a reason to wake up in the morning and work on a project because the job search is slow and can be discouraging. I am also a newbie gardener and I want to share the information I learn along the way how you can a wonderful looking garden with minimal amounts of money and experience. A person can read,, research, and landscape their own garden dream. :-)
