What I Write About
I write about my experiences in gardening in Victoria BC. I work at a greenhouse by day, and I collect plants to no end. I seek out strange plants from new lands, I thwart attacks of aphids on my indoor tropicals, and I germinate seeds that I collected from the year before. I write about a little bit of everything to do with gardening and add nice color photos to boot!
Why I Started My Gardening Blog.
I write about what I learn, and I learn something new everyday. Gardening is a constant learning experience, and I want to share my findings with the world. I suppose my inspiration for starting this blog was all of the momentary beauty I got to see, and I felt like it needed to be recorded. From waiting a year to see a flower bloom to sitting in a field of marigolds at the greenhouse, I just felt like I needed to share my experience with other.
Advice
- Post often
- add photos (a gardening blog without photos is a sad blog indeed)
- stay tough (it takes a while before people start reading, but if you keep writing, they'll eventually come)
