What I Write About

I write about topics that will interest the home gardener, along with a description of what I can do to facilitate the gardener to create and maintain the garden of their dreams. The blog describes my various services, including, planning, design, maintenance tips, setting up a compost area, growing vegetables, flowers, herbs, grasses, shrubs.

Why I Started My Gardening Blog.

I started the blog in order to inform more people about the practice of Garden Coaching and the services I can offer. I also have two other blogs, "How I Love to Garden" (kirbyplant.blogspot.com) and "Food Bank Garden" (foodbankgarden.blogspot.com) which tells the story of our local Food Bank Community Garden in Winston-Salem, NC.

I'm on Facebook under Garden Coaching and Design

I also have a website www.gardencoach4you.com

Advice

  • Love to garden and your life will be changed. Plants are the basis of life and learning about them, growing them, living with them can bring you more satisfaction than you will ever know. Blogs are a great way to SHARE and to LEARN from others.
  • Blogging is a super way to explore the diversity of gardening and to learn from people with similar experiences, whether you are just starting to garden of if you are a professional and/or experienced gardener
  • Start small and just keep adding information. Sign up for one of the systems that counts the number of visitors and reports their origin.
