What Memories or Stories Surround This Plant?

While looking at pots of Fountain Grass to purchase this lady near me said she had just pulled a couple huge versions from her too small yard. She gave me her address and said they were curbside waiting for trash pickup. My daughter and I scooted over there and put them into large trash bags. No kidding they were big and she did have a tiny "retirement home" yard. I have since divided those grasses a couple times as I have a large property to fill! Also, when I have purchased smaller pots of these, the rabbits had them eaten by the next day!! They have never bothered the larger versions of plants - not so young, tender and yummy.

I have also taken grass cuttings from a gardener to use in my compost pile as we have a grass-less yard.
