Why I Particularly Like this Catalog.
They sell 1/2 pound and 2 pound packages of bean seed, large packages of cylindrical beets and large packages of snap pea seed at reasonable prices. I need larger quantities of these things. They also sell normal size packages. They also offer free shipping from time to time if you sign up for their e-mail letter.
They have a wide variety of old favorites in the seed department and they have a good replacement/refund policy if the nursery stock doesn't grow. I have also purchased strawberry, gooseberry and blueberries from them.
Advice
- They send seed usually quite promptly, but if you order plant specials be prepared to wait a while for them to be shipped. These are often over stock items and you will get them near the end of the shipping cycle for these items.
- They are very curtious about taking orders by phone if you don't like using on-line ordering (if you have been caught by idenity theft like we have and are now on-line shy) even though their site is quite secure.
