Rose Standard

Here's a sight you don't often get to see - a rose tree! Standard roses always remind me of "The Secret Garden", by Frances Hodgson Burnett. No film made of this book has ever lived up to the garden in my imagination, when I first read it. But everytime I see a rose standard, I remember that garden.
