Echinacea 'Sunrise' may be the first yellow coneflower that won't be mistaken for a Rudbeckia. The petals are a gentle citron yellow. The center starts out green and expands to a rich gold color.

Echinacea 'Sunrise' has the wide, slightly reflexed petals of the Big Sky series and a lovely rose-like scent. But it's the soft yellow color that makes this coneflower so appealing. Finally there's a coneflower that works with other colors instead of making the garden designer work to find a complement for it.
