Really, the only way to enjoy snow peas is to grow them yourself. Their flavor starts to decline as soon as they're harvested. Snow peas are young, immature peas with soft, non-fibrous edible pods and seeds that are barely developed. The trick is to find a variety that has enough sweetness and crunch while young enough to be entirely edible. 'Snow Sweet' is extremely tender. The name 'Snow Sweet' should tell you two more things: 1) they're an early, cool season crop and 2) they're sweet.

The vines of 'Snow Sweet' will get about 2' tall and won't necessarily need support. However I usually find that heavy rain or wind can knock over the sturdiest pea vine and a little pea brush would be a wise idea. 'Snow Sweet' is disease resistant. (Harvest 60 days from sowing.)

Seeds of Pea 'Snow Sweet' are currently available from Johnny's Selected Seeds. Here's more about growing peas.
