So take a look at the 2006 Green Thumb Award Winners in the Tools, Supplies and Accessories Division. A panel of independent garden writers and editors have culled the 2006 garden mail order catalogs and web sites to choose their picks. The judging criteria took into account:

- Ability to Solve a Gardening Problem or Provide a Gardening Opportunity
- Potential Appeal to Gardeners
The awards are sponsored by the Mailorder Gardening Association, the world’s largest nonprofit association of companies that sell garden products directly to consumers.
