Tomato 'Big Beef'

'Big Beef' tomato is the only one many gardeners will grow. Who doesn't love a beefsteak tomato and 'Big Beef', along with the many hybrids it has spawned, is a very reliable grower. 'Big Beef' was a 1994 All America Selection. It's an indeterminate variety and the plants can get huge, both in height and width, not to mention heavy with fruits. 'Big Beef' starts producing about 73 days from transplant. Expect juicy fruits weighing in at 10--12 oz.
