It's true. The nose knows and the perfume of a scented candle is an immediate signal that the hard work is over. Scented candles can be overwhelming, but a candle that smells like a garden is simply evocative. Think of the gardener's favorite flower or a plant that they anxiously await ripening or maturing and zero in on that scent. Two of my favorites are:

  1. Vines N Violets, Cucumber Patch, Pineapple Paradise are among the scents offered by Courtney Candles. If you've ever been disappointed by a scented candle with imperceptible scent, at Courtney's, they "...put as much fragrance as possible into every one of our jar candles and then added a little bit more..." With 140 - 200 hours total burn time. That’s a lot of relaxing. (Compare Prices)

  2. L'Occitane Fruit & Flowers Scented Candles
Or maybe your gardener prefers the crisp, spicy scent of clementine slices. L'Occitane offers a range of scented candles that let you can drift off into a lavender induced reverie, or have an invigorating snap of Winter Forest. (Compare Prices)

Scent is such a strong mood altering sense, just having the perfume of one of these candles wafting from your gift basket is sure to make it well received.
