Nothing Signals "Relax" as Well as a Scented Candle.

It's true. The nose knows and the perfume of a scented candle is an immediate signal that the hard work is over. Scented candles can be overwhelming, but a candle that smells like a garden is simply evocative. Think of the gardener's favorite flower or a plant that they anxiously await ripening or maturing and zero in on that scent. Two of my favorites are:

  1. Lavender, Lemongrass & Orange, Tangerine & Lavender Essential Oil Aromatherapy Candles
These Aromatherapy candles from PlantLife are made of a mix of natural, clean burning waxes and 100% pure essentail oils. They really do smell as close as you’re going to get to the real thing. Tempt with Lavender, Lemongrass & Orange or Tangerine & Lavender. 72 hr. total burn time. That’s a lot of relaxing. (Compare Prices)

  2. Apple Slices 9oz Hex Jar, Scented Soy Wax Candle, By Pueblo Candles
Or maybe your gardener prefers the crisp, spicy scent of apple slices. This is another clean burning soy candle, but instead of drifting off into a lavender induced reverie, they’ll have an invigorating snap of apple. (Compare Prices)

Scent is such a strong mood altering sense, just having the perfume of one of these candles wafting from your gift basket is sure to make it well received.
