Flower and Garden Show Listings 'Ohio through Tennessee'

The Cincinnati Horticultural Society has decided to revamp its acclaimed flower show to reach a broader audience. Dates for 2013 have not been released.

Cleveland Botanical Landscape Fair and Plant Sale - Dates TBA 2014 at the CBG on University Circle (Held every other year.)

The Cleveland Botanical Flower Show was modeled after the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and was the largest outdoor flower show in North America. The CBG show is held every other year, so stay tuned for info on the 2014 show. For now we'll have to be satisfied with photos, as Sandy Mitchell, About’s Guide to Cleveland, shares her peak at the garden displays in 2007.

Oregon

This show is produced by the local growers and gardening experts of The Oregon Association of Nurseries, who want us to "Bring Life Outside". The display gardens will feature the theme of "Gardens through the Ages", along with plenty of exhibitors and the Cracked Pots Art Sale, This show is designed for gardeners of all abilities, with any size garden. The idea is to "beautify your home & garden from the outside in".

Pennsylvania

This is still the big one. Ten acres of displays and wares, plus great seminars. This year they are paying homage to British gardens and gardeners with the theme "Brilliant!" Who doesn't love British gardens?

Rhode Island

This is the show's 20th anniversary, so even thought the theme is "Simple Pleasures", expect big things. And don't forget to check out the Food and Wine Festival, with Sara Moulton headlining.

Tennessee

The Horticultural Association of Tennessee presents one of the largest garden shows in the south, with 20 display gardens, venders from 16 states and one of the best line-ups of seminars I've seen.
