Corkscrew Rush in Winter Water Garden

Debbie Nissen
Water gardeing and pond plants are a new world for Debbie, and she says she's learning as she goes and loving it. I was intrigued by how green this wonderfully twisted plant is, considering her previous photo. Debbie said it's a Juncus Effusus Spiralis, "In my terms it's a Corkscrew Rush lol! I didn't think it would stay so green, but even in Dec when it was down to 3 degrees and the pond froze over ( except where the falls interred the pond and the front of my skimmer where I put a floating heater) that little guy stayed mostly green so I haven't cut him back like the others."
