Until we start gardening in the air, gardeners are going to have to kneel. A lot. Sometimes it's nice to have a cushion under your knees and sometimes it's absolutely necessary. Here are 3 ingenious garden kneelers for comfort and ease in kneeling in the garden and for getting up when you're through.
1. Foldable Garden Kneeler

This is the basic model, but it's quite useful if you have trouble kneeling or getting up from kneeling. You can use it to sit on or flip it over and use it as a padded kneeler that's about 6" off the ground. The 2' side handles support you when it's time to stand up. Don't kneel at all. Well make yourself comfortable and functional on the Garden Hopper. It's a rolling cart your sit on and work from. The inside can hold a few hand tools and there's even a spot for your water bottle. The lightweight constructions makes it reasonable to lift and carry, if you don't stuff it full of heavy things. 3. Healthy Back Garden Kneeler

If kneeling isn't as easy as it used to be, try this ergonomic kneeler. This is an odd looking contraption with an adjustable seat to support you as you kneel, taking the weight off you knees and keeping your back in good alignment. The seat comes with you as you reach out and back and forth. There are also cushioned knee pads and the height and length are adjustable to your size. It folds flat for storage.
