If you've given up planting tulips because of deer browsing, think about planting some bulbs in your enclosed vegetable garden. Plant them near perennial vegetables, like asparagus, where the bulbs won't be disturbed. You can enjoy the color of the tulips, set off against the ferns of the asparagus or you can cut the flowers and bring bouquets indoors.
