I have discovered asters…New York aster or Michaelmas daisy looks great in late summer and gets huge fast. Redtwig dogwood, even though it is a shrub, is another fav. I love the red in the winter. Submitted by Melanie

  • Notes: Needs to be pinched early in the season, to produce bushy plants and fall blooming.
