The Zahara series is getting a lot of good reviews. I haven’t heard so much positive talk about a zinnia since the Profusion series came out. Like Profusion, the Zahara zinnias are resistant to mildew and leaf spot diseases.
Zinnia ‘Double Zahara Cherry’ starts blooming early and keeps going. It is very heat tolerant - after all, it is a zinnia - and has fully double, long lasting blooms. If the paler colors of Profusion didn’t do it for you, I think you’re going to love the Zahara series.
Growing Zinnia ‘Double Zahara Cherry’: Zinnias like warm soil and growing conditions, so don’t put them out until the soil has warmed. Lots of sun is the key to lots of blooms. Start them indoors in cool climates. You can direct seed in warmer locations.
