August 2012 Garden Photo Challenge - Fruits, Vegetables and All Things Edible!

And the winners are...

Apparently 2012 was a good year for vegetable gardens. Oh, how I wish we could have a big ol' pot luck dinner.

I don't think there is any gardening more rewarding than growing your own food and your submissions showed just how rewarding it can be. This is always a difficult challenge to judge because everything looks so delicious. How can you choose peppers over carrots. It makes you hungry just mulling over the photos. But we had a small snack and finally made our decisions. Here they are.
