One of the Gardening Forum's most frequent visitors, Vicky/WingzAFlutter, came back from a spring vacation to find her miniature rose bush in all it's glory and she was kind enough to share a photo with all of us. Vicky claims she's not a real rose person, having only 5 bushes in her gardens, but this little specimen seems perfectly happy. Look at all those buds! The bush is three years old. Vicky said she was surprised when it survived its first winter. She must be delighted now.

Vicky, who lives in Picayune, MS, posted this photo at the end of April - a welcome respite from a long, drawn out spring. The photo prompted a series of posts on taking care of roses and some suggestions for new roses for her to try. Seems no one believed she wasn't a rose person.

We get quite a few wonderful photos posted by forum members. (Who among us is above a little bragging when something actually grows like the catalog says?) We're lucky to have a good many forum regulars who are extremely generous with their encouragment and sound advice and who have made the forum a gardening community. We'd love to have you join us.
