I'm really enjoying being out in the garden in the cooler fall weather. Good thing, because I really slacked off this summer and there's a lot of clean-up to do. I'm hoping to keep a few things growing under cover and I still have some shrub planting to do, but mostly I'm focusing on putting my garden to bed. You can take your time working in the fall, when things aren't growing out of control if you blink. And cleaning up problems now means there will be that many fewer problems to contend with next spring.
