I don't know about you, but I've reached the point where I need a break from pulling weeds and picking beans. It's garden visiting time, for me. Whenever I start to feel garden weary, I grab some friends and refuel my inspiration by strolling through someone else's wonderland. I spent yesterday at Innisfree, a fascinating, Asian inspired garden in Millbrook, NY, full of subtle enchantment. This weekend I have to choose between several local town tours and Garden Conservancy Open Days. Nothing has done more for my own garden than putting the pruners aside for a day of spirit lifting garden visits. I hope I see some of you out there.
