February in the Garden
Regional Gardening Tips

I think of February as a transitional month. For those of us in the frigid north, it's time to stop sitting around dreaming and get started on concrete plans, dormant pruning and even some seed starting. Southern gardeners are segueing from their cool season. You'll be able to set tomatoes out next month, lucky you. And of course, you folks in the southern hemisphere are half way through summer, a mixed blessing.

Whether you're enjoying the first fruits of spring, moving into your warm season or waiting as patiently as possible for the first spring blooms, get out your your grow lights or your mid-season amendments and look over this February in the Garden To Do List. And let's get gardening!
