Dreaming Up a Vegetable Garden

By January 26, 2013

Follow me on:

For me, the best thing about winter is all the endless possibilities I can dream up for spring. I've been through this phase often enough to know I'll never get everything done, but it sure does feel good thinking about it.

I'm starting some slow poke seeds next week and I bet more than a few of you are planning your vegetable gardens. Whether it's your first effort or your 50th, dream big, delicious dreams.

Now that makes me jealous. Especially since I’m watching snow accumulate outside my window.

I’ll be starting my onions in the next two weeks. It’s been a long time since I’ve grown celery. I usually grow celeriac, but this year I’m trying a self-blanching celery, so thinks for reminding me to get them started early, too.
