I finally have time to look through all the new catalogs. I'm trying very hard not to order everything that looks good. I know I always start more seeds than I have room for - inside or out - but I also have a tendency to order perennial flowers as plants, rather than seed. This can add up quickly. Very quickly. So one of my resolutions for next year is to choose some of the older open pollinated perennial flowers and grow them from seed. I I've tried a few before, but I'm not always patient enough to wait two year for flowers. This year I'm going to give it a try. Then every two years I'll be surprised by what I forgot I had planted!
