Leeks are one of those wonderful old vegetables that folks either, love, hate or simply don't know what to do with. They have the convenient ability to be able to sit outside in the winter, until you are ready to use them. And they just get sweeter and sweeter.
Whether or not you've had your first frost of the season, I'm sure it's time for some comfort food. Leeks are rich, fulfilling and gratifying.
