Grab your coffee, ice tea, chilled wine or assorted beverage of your choice, your pruners and head out to the garden. While you are meandering and soaking in the splendor of what you've created, don't let the little imperfections mar your enjoyment.
If you see a plant that needs deadheading or has a few brown leaves that need to be removed, pick up the pruners and make it so. Cleaning up when you see it will prevent you from making that endless list in your head of all the things that need to get done. It will also prolong the life of your flowers.
Snip where needed, then toast your work and move along to the next amazing view. OK, it may take more than 15 minutes, but it won't seem like it.
