Perfect Weather for Drying Flowers

If you can't beat the drought, at least you can salvage some flowers by allowing them to dry gracefully. Dried flowers aren't quite as nice as fresh, but they certainly last longer. Look for flowers with a low water content, like statice, larkspur and yarrow. Then choose blossoms that are not quite fully open and follow the simple tips below, for harvesting, drying and storing flowers.
