My goodness, where did this heat come from? This is about the time of year when I realize I'm not going to get all the grand schemes I dreamed up during the winter accomplished this summer. And I'm grateful. I want a garden I can control and not one that controls me. I've given myself some gardening restrictions, like not planting prima donas and garden thugs that demand my attention or taunt me when I try to relax.
It's nice to have a solid plan and a good foundation when you start your garden, but we all get caught up in the chaos at the start of the season.
