Talk about flashy. The leaves of rex begonias positively flaunt their colors. These fascinating little plants make wonderful house plants without having to worry about flowers. Leaves can be multi-colored, patterned or glazed in icy silver. They're a popular plant to collect and if you think 1 begonia is showy, you should see 30 of them scattered about - all with different markings.
If you're looking for a little color in the winter months or if you're lucky enough to be gardening in zones 9 or 10, try growing a rex and see if they start to fascinate you as much as they do me.
