We've just finished up our Nov/Dec Holiday Plants Photo Challenge and I have to admit, it's always nice keeping the holiday spirit around for another week or so. The 1st Place photo was the clever wreath, at right. We've been watching Flower Lady do incredible things with trumpet vine pods all year and it was delightful to see them pop up on this Christmas wreath.

Oh, you deserved it. I will never look at those seed pods the same way again. We talked before about how enthusiastic trumpet vines can become, but I never thought to make something with those giant pods. I bet kids would get a kick out of working with them.
