Two beautiful roses have been designated All America Rose Selections (AARS) for 2011, a blushing multi-hued grandiflora called 'Dick Clark' (shown here) and a glowing, golden yellow floribunda, 'Walking on Sunshine'. The AARS tests for roses that deliver more than just beauty; they must also be widely adaptable, disease resistant and easy to care for - just what I like in a rose. Each winner is tested for 2 years, under diverse conditions. Some years there are several roses selected, this year only two. Take a look.
