I was comparing gloves with a gardening friend of mine this summer. We both love the little sweat strips they're putting on the sides of gloves, above the thumb, for wiping our brows. We're both avid glove wearers and always on the lookout for gloves that can stand the wear and tear of gardening in rocky soil.
My friend was wearing a pair from a company called "Womanswork" and she was quite pleased with them. Womanswork makes a line of gloves (for men too) and also has hats, bags, tees, tools and some really cool Garden Wheels with gardening info in a color wheel format. I meant to look for a pair of their gloves, so I was excited when I was recently contacted by the company. They asked if I'd like to test them out, which of course I would - if I could find some soil that isn't frozen solid.
I have full faith that a thaw will come and I want to be ready.
