Unusual Containers Photo Challenge

Gardens are hitting their stride and now it’s time to start showing them off. Starting with June, we’ll be issuing a photo challenge each month. It’s another way to share our enthusiasm for gardening and give your fellow readers a peek into your garden. Winning photos will be featured in a photo gallery the following month.

The Garden Photo Challenge for June 2009 is Unusual Containers. Whether it is the container itself or what you put into it, send us photos of odd, whimsical and just plain interesting containers. They can be containers you have planted or simply containers you’ve seen and photographed. Let’s see your creativity.

Read over the complete rules for details on posting your entries, image size requirements, and helpful hints. Entries must comply with those rules to be valid. But don’t be intimidated by the rules. We basically just want to insure you have the right to submit the photo. The idea behind the challenge is to share your photos and your gardens. If you have questions, please feel free to start a separate thread in the “Your Garden Photos” folder.

The deadline for this contest is June 30th. Challenge winners will be announced July 10th.
