1. Home & Garden

We got so many wonderful recommendations for the last Garden Re-Design Clinic of the front walkway garden. Lauren Vicker submitted some photos of a garden bed that she created in her back yard when some mature trees were knocked down during a storm. It's always hard to lose large trees, but the extra sunshine helps ease the loss. But sometimes it's hard to view your yard in this new light, if you're used to seeing it the other way. Lauren has experimented with some ornamental grasses, flowers and vegetables and she used her old bicycle to trellis sweet peas.

The pictures Lauren sent in were taken recently, in the early spring, so all we get to see are the bare bones. The only thing left standing are some ornamental grasses waiting for a haircut. So take a look at the photos and use your imagination. If you were given this blank slate, what would you plant? Let's put our heads together and help Lauren create something spectacular.
