Are Houseplants Good Feng Shui?

Saturday October 25, 2008
It was my dislike of clutter that first got me reading about feng shui. More to the point, it was an excuse to push me to get rid of a lot of the junk that was piling up around me. I was intrigued by the idea of balancing energies in a space, even if my western skepticism kept me from buying into the miraculous cures it seemed to promise.

Feng shui is a complex labyrinth of rules, positions and materials and I barely scratched the surface. I did learn that all those Pothos I kept rooting and potting up were dragging the energy down in home, because they were hanging downward. Upward growing plants are better - unless they have pointed leaves... Some things are best left to the pros. About’s Guide to Feng Shui, Rodika Tchi, points out that the one place plants should never be is in the bedroom. But before you throw in the towel and get rid of all your plants, take a read over at our Houseplants site where Jon VanZile gives some pointers about houseplants and feng shui that even I can understand.

What did people do before the fenshui i dont knou ,but at this moment aparently no one can live withot draguing the fenshui by the hair.
I do know that the chinese are a very inteligent people but i have to recognize that because it is chinesse it does not mean it it the last drink of water in the desert.
I do belive that the bast thing todo is to use our good judment and to use those things that we realy feel confortable tolive with and that do not make us tofeel deprived or unconfortable no mater who says different.
Another thing who is going to belive about a sciense fron people who consider eating dog estew a delicacy,by the way whe i live dogs started to disaper after a chinese family moved into the area. After some questionig and vigilace it was discoverd that they were using the dogs to eat,
