Eggplant: Summer Heat Means Heat Loving Vegetables

There are a few good things to say about the extreme summer heat. First, it doesn’t last long. Even better, certain vegetables just love it. Eggplants have really come into their own recently. The range of varieties being offered are less bitter, more beautiful and easier to grow. But they are still heat lovers and short season gardeners have to play all kinds of tricks to get an eggplant harvest. A heat wave can be a good thing if you’re an eggplant lover. Here are some tips to keep your eggplants going strong.
