What To Do in the Garden in April
A Regional Gardening Guide

Tuesday April 1, 2008
If April is the cruelest month, it’s either because there is so much to do all at once or because the weather won’t cooperate and let you do it. But that doesn’t mean the garden chores will go away. What we do in the next few weeks can make or break our gardens - pruning, amending, dividing and planting in the northern hemisphere and getting plants prepared to make it through winter in the southern hemisphere, whether that means cold or dry conditions or both. Take a minute to look over this April To-Do and get yourself organized to tackle at least a few crucial garden tasks.
