Time to Plant Peas?
Monday March 17, 2008
St Patrick’s Day means more than green beer and bagels to gardeners. It means it’s time to plant your peas. Although a time honored tradition, for many of us the ground is still too cold and wet to successfully start our peas (if you can see the soil at all). But it’s not too early to choose our seeds from the many varieties available. Peas are truly one of those vegetables that are an absolute treat fresh from the garden.
