Jazz it Up at the Philadelphia Flower Show
Sunday March 16, 2008
The Philadelphia Flower Show, the largest indoor flower show in the world, just ended and our Guide to Philly, John Fischer, got there early to give us a glimpse of this year's opulence. They really pulled out all the stops for the Philly show and this year's theme, "Jazz It Up!" brought out the big guns. Hot colors, bold designs and lots of fun went into this year's exhibits. John has put together 4 photo galleries featuring the Central Feature Landscape and Floral Exhibits, Individual Design Entries and the Educational Exhibits. The photo to the right, "Do You Know What It Means to Miss New Orleans", offers a bit of respite. It's the work of the Delaware Valley College, Department of Ornamental Horticulture & Environmental Design and is in the Educational Exhibits gallery. Enjoy the show and get some inspiration for jazzing up your garden.
