I start my spring house cleaning in January so (hopefully) I’ll be done before the weather warms up in spring. The dust bunnies will wait, but spring pruning will not. It takes so long for the weather to warm and once it does, everything needs to be done at once. Well, I’m not going to complain about having too many things to do outside. Here’s the list of things I came up with for spring cleaning my gardens.
And to make sure your gardens are shown off to their best effect, add a bit of curb appeal by waking up your lawn after the long winter and spiffing up the entry to your landscape. These are tasks you can do once and appreciate all season. And spring is the perfect time...
Spring Lawn Care:
First, the bad news: If you fail to extend your spring cleaning efforts to the lawn, you could end up paying for it the rest of the year. Now the good news: Spring lawn care doesn't entail nearly the amount of work that you'll have to invest in mowing alone throughout the summer months.
Laying Down an Asphalt Driveway:
The window of opportunity for laying down an asphalt driveway means that the warmer months of spring are best for this temperature-sensitive project.
