Bring Those Beautiful Flower Pots and Garden Ornaments Indoors
Seasonal Garden Decorating

An earlier poll showed that most of us haul multiple plants indoors for the winter months. It's a safe bet that we also move all our delicate flower pots and garden ornaments into the garage or shed for safe keeping, during the harsh weather. Why just store your garden accessories and have them take up space when you could put them to good use indoors? Here are some creative ideas for using garden items as seasonal decorations, during the winter.

Good idea, but make sure you leave all the garden pests that sometimes take up residents in the containers outdoors.

That’s an excellent point. You should scrub all the pots you bring indoors, even the ones that are just being stored. A 10% solution of bleach (1 part bleach to 9 parts water) is a good way to kill off hitch hiking disease problems too.

Well, it’s spring now. A good time to get all those pots and containers out of the shed and get the shed cleaned out, spruced up, and maintained ready for the spring and summer seasons.
