Square Foot Success - Literally
Space is No Longer an Excuse

Tuesday February 20, 2007
You may be familiar with square foot gardening in the vegetable garden, but the folks at Gardener's Supply have just won a Green Thumb Award for their square foot take on container gardening. The Square Foot Success Kit comes with everything a gardener needs to get started, except the plant. The water is monitored, the fertilizer is organic and the pot is weather proof. This kit is aimed at true small space gardeners, taking away the final excuse of not having enough room to garden. I think it would make a nice apartment warming gift too. This kit looks ideal for my small terrace in Seattle. Think cherry tomatoes! You could also grow some nice grasses for privacy and practically never have to water/feed it.

Cheers,
