Chinese Foxgloves
Long Blooming Shade Perennials

Friday January 26, 2007
Perennials that bloom repeatedly throughout the growing season are rare. Rehmannia elata (Chinese Foxglove) not only repeat blooms, it gives it’s best show in partial shade. The nodding bell-shaped flowers come and go from spring through fall. They’re not as hardy as the foxgloves we’re used to, but Chinese Foxgloves grow well from seed and are well worth a look for your shade garden.
