Landscaping Impaired? There's Hope for You Afterall

Monday November 6, 2006
Remember when landscaping meant mowing the lawn and popping a few geraniums in the window box? When did landscaping morph into the much more intimidating’ landscape design’? Now we have to think about flow, proportion, transition and unity. Well, don’t let it intimidate you. As they say, if you can get yourself dressed and pulled together every morning, (and most of us do), there’s no reason you can’t dress and pull together your yard.

David Beaulieu, About’s Guide to Landscaping, has made it safe to contemplate your yard again, with Landscape Design for Do-It-Yourselfers. David explains each design element and helps you put them together without falling apart. So save your intimidation for something worthwhile, like Latin plant names.
