Did You Know Gardening Was Good Exercise?
Of Course You Did!

You’ve probably seen more than one article touting gardening as good exercise. What gardener needs to be told that? Only the idle observer would think that gardening didn’t involve intense effort. What other past time requires so much bending, squatting, knelling, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, toting... Gardening is enjoyable effort, but there is no denying that it is effort.

So for those of you, or should I say us, who are feeling the effects of all that effort, here’s some help with what ails you. Consider it a mid-season reminder to bend at the knees, not the waist and to give your body a break and stretch once in a while. Heck, why not think about sitting once in a while too?
