Mother Nature Ruled at the
2006 Philadelphia Flower Show
The Philadelphia Flower Show is the largest indoor gardening event in the world and they do it up BIG! If you've never been, it's worth the trip to see the acres of displays and vendors. About's Guide to Greater Philly / South Jersey, John Fischer, made good use of his press pass and snapped up photos in the pre-dawn, pre-crowd hours.
This year's theme was Enchanted Spring... A Tribute to Mother Nature. Well isn't that the theme in all of our gardens right now? John is gracious enough to share his photos with us at the Gardening site. I particularly like seeing what the plant societies are up to. If you're a fan of hypertoufa, check out the North American Rock Garden Society's display. How do they make the round ones?
There is something there for everyone. New plants new ideas, old pros... Pour yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy.
