Houseplants can take care of themselves during the summer. A little water is about all they ask. But winter brings shorter days and lower humidity. David Beaulieu provides some tips for choosing and caring for houseplants in Interiorscaping: Ideas for Gardening Indoors. Start giving your indoor plants some attention now, before problems start creeping in. As with everything else, it's easier to stop a houseplant problem than to correct it.

this is very good that they tell you how to keep your house plants alive in the summer by not giving them too much water because it is warm out.
