Deer Resistant Spring Bulbs

Friday October 21, 2005
It's not too late to plant spring blooming bulbs. If you can still dig in the soil, you can still plant. Don't be put off spring bloomers just because you have a deer problem. You will probably never have a tulip display, but there are many spring bulbs that the deer tend to avoid. Unfortunately, you'll still have to deal with the suqirrels and armadillo's digging them up, but that can be worked around too. Give spring blooming bulbs a second look. You'll be glad you did, after another long winter.
